PrepStar All-American.  Virginia Group A Player of the Year. Spence is a versatile athlete.  Is also a standout in track and field (sprinter, 45 foot Triple Jumper, State Champion Group A Discus in 1998) and has great foot quickness. Spence rushed for over 1,300 yards and 18 TDs last season. Likely projects at the whip linebacker position where his coach says comparisons to Brandon Semones are likely.
