PrepStar All-Region.  One of the fastest rising prospects in the Big Ten region. A very hard worker and a leader. Will likely play offensive guard in college, though also a fine defensive lineman.

His coach says he can play anywhere on the offensive line. He further
states that Ramsey has "great feet." His coach says his best feature is
"his explosiveness and his ability to stun people coming off the ball.

3.0 GPA, 1020 SAT. Ramsey was also offered by Pittsburgh, Maryland , and
UVA. Committed on 8/11/99.

Robert Ramsey was a 3-year varsity starter and 2-year All-Conference player on both the offensive and defensive lines for Montour. A team captain for football, Ramsey was also a 3-year letter winner in Track and Field. Although primarily an offensive player, Ramsey had 11 tackles in one game alone. He was selected to the Super Prep All-East Region team, PrepStar All-East Region team, and Tom Lemming's Prep Football All-East team; Pennsylvania Football News First Team All-State; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous 22 West, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pennsylvania Top 25 Prospects; Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Pre-Season Terrific 25, W.P.I.A.L. "AAA" Parkway All-Conference, and Westra Construction's Pennsylvania Lineman-of-the-Year Nominee.
