Malcolm Delaney was a unanimous pick by all 53 voters for this year's All-ACC team, which was released on Monday. He joins two other conference players, Greivis Vasquez and Jon Scheyer, as unanimous selections. Virginia Tech's Dorenzo Hudson was selected to the third team.

Delaney is Virginia Tech's junior guard who led the ACC in scoring this season. He is expected to return to Tech for his senior season, along with all four other starters. He will be the leader of a Hokie team that will get plenty of attention in the offseason, unlike this year.

Hudson averaged 14.4 points per game, but he stepped it up even more in ACC games. He averaged 16.7 points in the 15 conference games he played in, which was the seventh best mark in the league. He will return with Delaney next year to form arguably the ACC's best backcourt.

Delaney, Vasquez and Scheyer were the ACC's top three scorers. Delaney averaged 20.9 points per game, with Vasquez scoring 19.6 and Scheyer averaging 18.9. All three players play the point guard position for their respective teams in the guard-heavy ACC.

Trevor Booker (137 points in the voting) and Kyle Singler (134 points) also earned first team honors. Those two players narrowly beat out Wake Forest's Al-Farouq Amini (126 points), who paced the second team. Aminu averaged 15.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, the only player in the ACC to average a double-double.

The rest of the second team includes Duke guard Nolan Smith (104 points), UVA wing Sylven Landesberg (95 points), NC State forward Tracy Smith (82 points) and Wake Forest point guard Ish Smith (76 points).

Gani Lawal of Georgia Tech (73 points) paced the third team, barely behind Ish Smith in the voting. Dorenzo Hudson (51 points), Chris Singleton (50 points), Joe Trapani (38 points) and Soloman Alabi (30 points) followed Lawal on the third team.

As usual, the ACC was a guard-oriented conference this year. Seven of the top 10 players on the All-ACC team were either a guard or a wing, and four of them were point guards.

Individual awards for ACC players, as well as the Coach of the Year Award, will be announced later in the week.
