Norcom Free Safety Claims VT, UVa Offers March 18, 2010 I.C. Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) just captured the Group AAA state championship in varsity boys basketball. One of the members of the championship squad is Kameron Mack, a 6-5, 200-pound junior. Hokies Advance in NIT with Easy Win March 17, 2010 Virginia Tech blew out visiting Quinnipiac 81-61 in the opening round of the NIT on Wednesday night. The game was never in doubt, with Tech taking the lead just two minutes in and never letting up. The Hokies are now 24-8 on the season. The Bobcats finished the year with a 23-10 record. more

Quick Take With Jarell Eddie March 11, 2010 Cannon School (Concord, N.C.) finished the 2009/2010 season with a 17-14 overall record. The team was led by senior Jarell Eddie, a 6-7, 210-pound forward who averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds and four assists and two blocks per game. Eddie will now move on to Virginia Tech, the school he signed with last November and where he expects to enroll in late May. more
