program, turned them into national champions, puts players in the WNBA.

Are you really trying to compare her to what Beth has accomplished,
which has basically been nothing? The two programs have gone in
opposite directions. Maryland has a young team, but clearly, the
Terps have more talent on this year's team than we do. More
athleticism, better post players, better shooters.

Beth has done nothing to deserve a contract extension. This program
is in the ACC cellar, there is absolutely no buzz or excitement about
the program, and Beth has had, what, 6 years now to prove herself up
to the challenge of running an ACC program.

When Beth was hired, I liked Weaver's choice, and thought she
would/could be successful. Unfortunately, things haven't panned out
and it's time for a change.

Like Frese or dislike her, there is no denying she turned Maryland
into a winning program. How do you like looking at the ACC standings
and see VT at the bottom? We used to regularly make the post-season.
Now, we can't even sniff a .500 record in the ACC.
