Subject: I am not missing any point. After 20 years in the workforce AND

10 years as a coach, both as an assistant coach and a head coach...I
TOTALLY understand that whether or not it is a good fit could come
down to either the employee or the manager. It has been pretty much
established that certain asst. coach was assertive to the point that that
person acted bigger than that person's role. Perhaps that should have
been foreseen.

Even today I over-heard an HR person talk to a manager about
someone they wanted to hire. The HR and the manager both agreed
that the potential hire was an arrogant jerk BUT they wanted the SME
and were willing to hire the person for his skillset despite the
behavior/attitude and LIKELY conflicts it would cause.

Managers and coaches make these decisions all the time. I understand
that and am MISSING NO points.
