If you win big, the coverage comes. Just look at our softball program
over the past four years with Tincher. Lots of coverage on local TV, in
the papers, and on this board and Techsports site. It along with other
women's sports may not pay the bills, but the exposure is good for the
school and the athletic program. Lots of Tech sports fans do not have
truckloads of money to attend the football and basketball games, but
they still want to participate in the program and minor sports allow that
to happen.
