They are a solid athletic program because they have boatloads of
money and they have a nationally recognized academic rep. Their
endowment insures they are able to fully fund every sports program.
Their academic rep insures they attract the best and brightest who
often excel in the country club sports. They also attract the brightest
on other sports because of the opportunities afforded to their graduates
outside of sports. You guys need to grow a little thicker skin when it
comes to criticism of the WBB program. Chris truthfully replied and he
was right. VT WBB could win back to back to back to back to back
national championships and the business reality is the program could
still not support the overall VT athletic program. VT WBB gets the
coverage it deserves and currently maybe even more than it deserves.
