That has helped us secure Jeff and nearly get Momo. But, you have to
remember that most of these guys come to OHA as Juniors or Seniors and
have already narrowed their list of universities or committed by the
time they arrive there. Also, it's not like these players are native
Virginians (for the most part). Our close proximity to OHA will only
help in certain situations. (IIRC Jeff A had already committed or was
nearly committed when he went to OHA for his senior season)

A good relationship with Coach Smith and the other coaches will
certainly help us pull a few guys over the next decade. I did hear
that we may be in on a few of the younger guys, but I can't remember
who (or if they even ended up enrolling there). My 'source' and I
rarely talk OHA bball, but since the season is about to start, I'm
sure it'll be a topic of conversation soon.

I do know that Coach Smith was pretty disappointed in the MoMo fiasco,
and I think that was well-documented here and in the Roanoke Times.
VT/Seth was going to be perfect fit for Momo. Unfortunately, sometimes
money (and mothers) talk.
