Subject: TSL Pass: VT Recruits in Action at Southern Invitational

For most of the players at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville,
VA, this AAU tournament was a chance to get their names out there in
front of recruits from some of the top schools on the East coast. It is
what makes AAU basketball so unique; the goal is not as much about
the success of the team as it is about getting the players to the next
level.

Virginia Tech commitments Ben Boggs and Erick Green, however, had
no such worries. Having already made the decision to attend VT
months earlier – Boggs on October 28 and Green on January 25 – the
Southern Invitational was merely another chance to ball.
