All or nothing for membership imo. Otherwise it's like having a girlfriend for 6 days a week and she's free to act as she pleases on Saturdays.
I'm for all or nothing membership for Notre Dame too, but I have a feeling the ACC will take Notre Dame as a non-football member who will play 6 ACC opponents each football season. I would stay at 14 full members and keep the 2 divisions. If the ACC is concerned about an unbalanced basketball schedule they could add another non-football member like Georgetown or Villanova which wouldn't excite me. I'm sure the only ACC schools that would possibly embrace that would be the basketball schools like Duke, UNC, Maryland, and Syracuse.
