I'm not sure if the B10 was directly involved or not. But I know many fans and alums from B10 schools were getting sick of the spectacle and embarrassment and I assumed expulsion had to be an option. Moreover, even if the B10 was not offended by the nonsense, they might have expelled PSU just for business reasons had they received a 4-year football death penalty. Goodbye Penn State; hello Pitt... or Mizzou, Rutgers, Kansas, or someone else.
