It's difficult to gather the facts you want since Inspector Clouseau - the NCAA - is the one doing the investigating and they have a financial incentive to look the other way. In addition to that, coaches don't like to rat on each other, at least not on the record. You might recall when Phil Fulmer did and the ire he drew for doing it. No wonder things like Penn St happen. When coaches won't even inform on rivals for recruiting violations, they aren't likely to send an asst to prison for criminal ones.
