That's EXACTLY what VT did in 2003! And we have the same administration! And we share a league with Duke and UNC that told us to go f*** ourselves in 2003! And we share a conference with Syracuse, Pitt, BC and Miami who were part of the Big East! And Miami and BC are some of our closest football partners and they had NO issue screwing VT in 2003 by abandoning the Big East with Syracuse.
