The problem with 9-game conference schedules

I was shooting to an "average" for a BCS school. Lots more to fill a 100k stadium, lots less to put 100 people in Dook's stands. Point was it is pretty simple to see more home games mean more money.

And yes, NCAA FB will be to 13 reg season games within 10 years. No doubt in my mind on that one.

What about the university presidents concerns about the college athlete? They don't want an 8 or 16 team playoff because of student's physical well-being and academic concerns with an extended season. Oh, I forgot, the additional regular season game will bring in more revenue. I don't know if most coaches would want a 13th game. Maybe a pre-season game/scrimmage is more desirable to most coaches. I know Beamer has said that he would like to have a pre-season game to get the team ready for opening game.
