"IF" Notre Dame ever did decide to join the ACC as a full member, then the ACC wouldn't necessarily need a 16th member. ACC operated with 9 teams for awhile when FSU joined. "IF" Notre Dame did miraculously join the ACC as a full member, John Swofford should be canonized for sainthood shortly after his death.LOL St. John Swofford, "the patron saint of getting Notre Dame into a football conference." While we are dreaming about Notre Dame as the 15th full member of the ACC, throw in Penn State which ain't going to happen either.
