so is that saying $14MM for the 10 all-sports teams? (L'ville, Cincy, UConn, USF, UCF, Memphis, Houston, SMU, Temple, and Rutgers)!? $140MM/year for that lineup!? then they want to throw another $30MM to Boise St, San Diego St and Navy!? Now, i do agree that Villanova, G'Town, SJU, Marquette, Notre Dame, DePaul, Seton Hall and Providence are worth $32MM ($4MM each) in bball, but the article said 16 teams, while i'm counting 18 (10 all sports + 8 bball), so who knows who their "source" is.
ACC contract for 14 schools: $240MM/year
BE "dream payday" per the article for 21 schools (8 don't play football): $202MM/year
while that's a nice payday, it's still not close to the $17MM/school the ACC is getting from ESPN. they also won't even be in the same ballpark of bowl money, so the idea that the BigEast will be getting ACC money is redonk...
