Opinion Poll- Need to get rid of some tree rats that have moved into neighborhood. I

don't really like the idea of rat poison if it causes undue pain. Also, it could harm the raccoons, cats and possums. I wish the city would take the live one that I have already caught and dispose of properly but they won't. I guess I'm just going to take it out to the woods and let it go.

I guess my question is what would you do?
1. Poison
2. Kill w/rat traps
3. Catch and relocate

Catch and relocate. You'd fell really bad if somebody's prize pet or child got into the poison or was harmed by the trap. I use a Havahart. A piece of apple coated with peanut butter and it works everytime. Be sure to take it far enough away that it can't find its way back. I take them to the golf course about 5 miles away across the Interstate.
