Having ACC as a legit contender in the ACC is much better for the conference than a phony BE-like deal. It gives the ACC more football cred. And it the opportunity to allow for ND to play in the ACCCG while keeping their national schedule. BTW, having ND playing USC, Michigan, etc. helps the ACC a lot more than having ND play that extra ACC game against Duke, Wake, etc.
Notre Dame is no more a legit contender than UVa.
