This year, I would say that Navy, BC, and Wake are the least compelling games on their schedule. Now put them into full ACC membership and they have to play a an 8 game ACC schedule. Their schedule would take a very sever hit in terms of excitement, unless they still want to schedule USC, Mich, Stanford, Okl, etc as OCC games - but that would be very crasy.
why would it be very crazy if ND kept that tough OOC schedule if your point about an ACC schedule being weak is true????? your point does not seem to make sense. If we are weak - and they play that 'weak' schedule - they can win our conference (ha; would love to see them try; fact is, I think they would get their rear ends kicked in ACC, but I digress...as that would really hurt their image, wouldn't it.....)...point being if we're weak, they can win our championship, and then can still play those other 'powerhouses' you refer to, and keep their lofty image intact...win/win....or, not, if they got their butts kickd by our weak little conference....
