That schedule not that impressive to me, really. BYU Pitt Purdue Navy BC certainly nothing special to a lot of us, as MichState could be in any year, and Miami.. If they need to schedule 2 of 3 OOC with "national caliber" teams, wouldn't they likely have any easy time doing that?

What if Notre Dame gets stuck with a draw like: NC State, UVa, GT, Duke, MD, BC, UNC, Miami, and a ninth team that is not Clemson or FSU? That's essentially VT's 2014-2015 schedule. That means two of the three OOC opponents have to be national caliber for a decent schedule by ND standards.
