getting past my own obvious response of "why?", here is what i've heard:

looking at 8 game league schedule with 6-1-1 format (assuming they mean 5-1-2 in 2013 and they must have plans for a 14th member in 2015 with Navy? Villanova?)

divisions broken up in zipper fashion (ie Boise St and SDSU would be rivals in opposite divisions, same with Houston and SMU)

Looking to create/bid-out their own bowl for their champion on an annual basis beginning in 2014 (likely in Florida).

taking a stab at who the 14 schools even are, here is my guess of divisions:

Big / East

SDSU / Boise St
SMU / Houston
USF / UCF
L'ville / Cincy
Temple / Rutgers
Memphis / UConn

2014
Big / East

SDSU / Boise St

all assuming they don't collect exit fees from anyone else in the meantime, of course...
