I love being in the ACC, I don't want to be anywhere else. I also know that this is big business and you are either innovating or you are dying. Blind loyalty in business can mean ruin. I hope we know when to make decisions to protect our interests and not the interests of the other schools. I see partial membership with no concrete, predetermined, contractually obligated steps to full membership as the possible impetus for FSU etc. to bolt and there are only so many slots available. I would hate to see it come to that, but it may.

The Big East failed because all members were not equal. The Southwest Conference failed because all members were not equal. The Big XII failed because all members were not equal. Notes Dame will never accept conference membership where it is not in control. Never in the ACC unless it is full and equal. No better, no worse!
