I'll take the 6 games/year, but there is no way I would take their non-revenue sports without their football team. One exception, letting their football team play out it's current contract, then allowing them to joing the ACC the following year. If we had a finite date, then I would consider letting their other sports in early...and that date has to be soon. (Don't want them to get another 6-10 year deal with NBC, then offer to join us later while we take their non-revenues now.) Homie doesn't play that!
Ya know, I don't love the idea of ND 6 games with non-revenue + bball membership, but I would be ok with it if VT got to play ND twice every 4 years. If that's the case then our OOC schedule would improve by orders of magnitude, and we'd probably play ND at FedEx Field for our home game, which would be pretty awesome for a sizeable portion of VT fans. 9 conference games with Notre Dame every other year is very good for Virginia Tech. If it's good for VT then I'm ok with it. Still don't love it, but I'm ok with it.
