You must be looking hard for bad signs, Dennis Wolff for one has been awesome. He quickly got rid of the bad attitudes on the team and their work habits took a 180 degree turn this summer. The recruiting class was amazing considering when he started, and even a couple of the late signees have been more impressive than expected this early.
I think JJ is a similarly tireless recruiter and generator of positive energy. Time will tell.
I hope Wolff works out OK. I have no ill will for him at this time. As for getting rid of the malcontents and bad actors, that didn't require a Ph.D in physics to identify and show those kids the highway. As for amazing recruits and so on, if I were you I put that stuff back in the can for another couple of years. Let's see what they do in VT uniforms against the conference competition before we call them amazing. As for JJ, we will have to wait three of four years to see how he does. He may well be a tireless recruiter and a generator of positive energy. Will he be an effective recruiter? Can he get into NCAA regional play within the lifetime of most people reading these messages? I sure hope so, but at present he has no track record at all. I surely wouldn't bet the deed to my home on it.
