WADR, I really can't understand why so many here apparently can't grasp this simple fact. Although he could be very charming when he wanted to be and he was a very good coach and a tireless recruiter, Seth was also, unfortunately, a hot-tempered, abrasive, inconsiderate jackass who routinely treated the people around him like dogs**t. It had progressed to the point where it had posioned the entire working enviroment within the athletic department and half the current team was seriously considering transfering.
The clincher was when Weaver got absolutely no interest in VT's available assistant coaching positions earlier this year because nobody was interested in coming to work for Seth Greenberg. When you can't find any quality assistants out there who want to come to work at an ACC program, something is seriously wrong. What Weaver did was the equivalent of removing a cancerous tumor. It's a real shame that it had to be done, but it had to be done.
