except for the Big12 maybe...Louisville, while looked at as a redheaded commuter school by most in the mid-atlantic, actually has one of the richest athletic departments in the country and they have some recent football success to go with the their bball program. if the Big12 goes to 12, L'ville will be #1. the question is who will be #2? BYU? they did just cancel a series with Utah which seems odd when you consider how hard it is for Independents to build out quality schedules...hmmm...Cincy? would give WVU and L'ville a sense of regionalism...Boise St? expands B12 into the Rockies/PNW (sort of). either way, 3 of the 4 most viable candidates are from the BigEast, so that league could still see some trouble ahead...
