USAA (or any of the programs, really) car buying service isn't a good deal unless you're too lazy/scared to negotiate with a dealer, or the vehicle you're looking for is so in demand that it's selling at/above MSRP.
I just did what you did - email the online sales department and do round-robin with the price quotes until you find the best price.
It wasn't Ourisman Toyota, but Ourisman Ford tried to jerk my mom around when I was helping her buy a new car. Basically, they told her they had a car that they didn't, which was actually a "demo" car 200mi away. They tried to get her to drive over to the dealer knowing that the car wasn't there. No thanks.
