I, too, don't see what the attraction was with BC. The only plus I see is that they are ND rivals and perhaps they were thinking of attracting Notre Dame. Neither fits the footprint and BC causes a lot of extra travel costs. VT football has been a great asset to the ACC in a time of mediocre FSU teams as well as Miami. The fact that we were not on the table without political influence exerted on our behalf shows that Swofford is no genius. He's a UNC homer all the way as evidenced by the total lack of oversight/penalties related to their violations.
