Why would ACC officials meet with Notre Dame about an Orange Bowl tie-in? And why would the ACC presidents need to be involved? The Orange bowl is an independent non-profit, separate from the ACC, and does its own negotiating.

This is a thinly-veiled cover up for conference membership discussions (as if most didn't already know that). But why the ruse? I don't get it.
