Wow, just wow, one of the articles above contains this line :

"The Fighting Irish have played in no fewer than five Orange bowl's and have played a large part in making the Orange Bowl what it is today."

There have been about 77 Orange Bowls and because Notre Dame played in 5, the last time in 1996, the Irish have MADE the Orange bowl . Boundless,unlimited arrogance at it's best.

Although nobody seems to understand plural vs possessive these days.
