The Big East is the best top-to-bottom basketball league in the nation, it's servicable as far as their non-revenue sports go, and they can remain a full independent in football, keeping all the cash they generate. Most importantly, they can qualify for the national "Football Final Four" as an independent. Why move?
The Big East is still a very good basketball league but I wouldn't call it the best anymore.
