Well I'm not exactly stating that Notre Dame adds zero value, am I? That kind of statement should not be made without a shred of objective evidence. It's one thing to propose a possible business relationship and describe its possible merits, and it's another thing to dismiss it out of hand.

And I don't think you can conclude the numbers don't work in favor of partial membership simply because the ACC hasn't moved yet. As I said above, the most compelling reason the ACC hasn't invited Notre Dame would be pride.
