I'd have a very easy time putting an unbeaten Boise team in the playoff ahead of an Alabama team that lost to an 8-4 team and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I would say the "good faith agreement" that is more important to uphold is NOT the one that says the SEC is guaranteed 1 or 2 playoff spots, but the one that grants playoff access to deserving mid-majors.
In short, if I can find a way to get a team like Boise in, if they are undefeated, then I'd do it. That typed... if Boise loses even one game, they're probably out.
