Was posting around 11pm Friday night something like "Wow, this is crazy, ten minutes ago nothing...now high winds...." Think I got about that far when the power went out. Was even thinking, I'll post this before I lose power.... Zap.
Not that I was going to be able to do anything about it, but thanks to Hokienole's post yesterday, Maybe I was bored, but the whole situation caught my attention hours before, WaPo and my little Weatherbug app seemed to be pretty clueless about it up until the last hour or so.
Slept in my basement, which seems to stay cool even in this weather, more than half my neighbors all seemed to have places to go, Hot's not fun, but mostly boring, figured I'd go see a movie (for the ac) they were closed etc.
Anyway..
