This team may make the LLWS

My son's little league all star team, the Orwall National League majors won the District 28 championship last night 12-0 over Tomball. These guys have a great shot at making it to Williamsport - they missed it last year by one game - lost in the SW regional final. The kid in the middle Luke Trahan is about 6-1 - a 12 year old!

We had a 6'0" guy on my LL team the year we won states. He never grew another inch, and I am not sure he gained much weight after that.

our pediatrician and another doctor noted that kids who enter puberty later and have their growth spurts later, tend to be taller. according to them, the reason is that they have grown taller before having their growth spurts.

my sons are 13 and 12 and haven't started puberty yet. the 13 yo is 5-5 and the 12 yo is 5-5 1/2. Both wear size 12 mens shoes. i'm 6ft and wear a size 12. i fear for my future. at least i will be able to get them to get stuff off the shelves that i can't get.

sadly, future LLWS goes to 4tm playoff picked by committee

It'll be a guarantee that the money conferences will get a team in every year... Tokyo, Taiwan, Venezuela, and Cali. Midmajors like KY, VA, TN are going to get locked out.
