Who cares? Does anyone think this guy was going to help us win games?....
...it was a great story and he is a military hero but in D1 football he won't much if anything. Count on it. What position could he start at, besides special teams, at Tech or Clemson? WR-Size and speed are a problem. DB-Speed is a problem. Those are the only positions he can play with his size and speed. I am not upset that we lost a walk on. Originally Posted by dallasvt

Oh please. That's a total load of crap. It reflects well on VT that we have admissions standards that are higher than Clemson's and we didn't bend them simply to score "PR points". Besides, Chris Coleman says he's seen the guy's film and he's nothing special. It would have been a great "feel good" story but it's doubtful that he would have seen any meaningful PT here.
