What a story, thanks for sharing. Reminds me of when Red Laird gave me a cracked Bob Porterfield bat for being batboy vs W&L back in the 50s. I kept it for 40 years.....last time I used it to prop open the garage door when motor broke. Now I can't find it.

We are hanging out where the players warm up and Tim sees my 9 year old in his Logan Thomas jersey.
