im out in the garage trying that now. transformer has 24v at all times and i do have a good common in all the valve boxes and the controller. im convinced its the controller at this point.
i should clarify that none of the solenoids currently operate electronically... the valves work manually (by sticking my hand in the valve box and literally turning the valve to "open") but not the solenoids
i have one other idea involving the backup battery, im going to kick myself if it ends up being the backup.
