for an employee benefit plan which I performed a few months ago. I have to pay somebody to make a copy of a 900+ page file, redact the social security numbers in it, and mail the whole thing to Washington, DC. How much should I bill my client for this?
Figure there is at least 5 or 6 hours of labor copying, redacting and assembling the package, somewhere around 900 pages of copies, I'm sure it will use up the bulk of a toner cartridge, then there's postage. Compliance with this request could easily wind up costing me $340. What would you expect to be billed for this?
