Dew was the 4th-string Whip, with a Freshman in front of him. Norman was the 3rd-string Rover, with two Sophomores in front of him. Dew would probably have been the backup Whip in 2013, so it hurts depth for 2013-2014.

However, there are so many LB and DB recruits coming in the class of 2012, it's not a big loss for either one.
