You'd think that number would be little larger given the fact of the size of a baseball roster needed to realistically compete.
85 scholies for 22 football players (11 D + 11 O). Even if you add 4 ST players; 85 for 26 positions/players: Ratio does not compare for football and baseball.

(I know its a non-revenue sport, ... sigh.)

You have to really sell your program to recruits to be good, thye must want to play for you.
