i believe you're wrong. the Cotton Bowl would have to devalue itself or go away as it replaced itself with the new bowl. the SEC and Big12 own 100% of the rights to this new bowl they created, they just need a stadium to play in. they don't want/need a bowl committee.

i could even see the Champions Bowl rotating sites. maybe StL, Houston, Tampa, and Orlando would all be in play.

My projected list would be:

Rose: Pac12 v B1G
Fiesta: At-Large v At-Large
Cotton: At-Large v At-Large
Champions Bowl: SEC v Big12 (site TBD)
Sugar Bowl: At-Large v At-Large
Orange: ACC v ND/At-Large
