You're arguing with you own point. I'm trying to follow but you're confusing me. First you say that the NCAA Boss (the president) says he is fine with it. Then you go on to say that it doesn't matter what the NCAA Bosses want. Well if his voice doesn't matter why did you start by quoting him?
Did you notice in my post that I wondered who among the 300+ Div 1 members would actually have a voice in this? All conferences not just the Big 6, not even just the 11 Div 1 BCS conferences have representatives on the NCAA Board that will have to pass the change. That is why I brought up revenue sharing. Will the Big 6 have to share some of the profits from the new playoff structure with the smaller schools to get their votes on this issue? Will the even smaller divisions of the NCAA want some of the money to offset the losses in their divisions playoffs? When there are 9 digits sums involved and 1200 member schools most of whom lose money on sports you can bet there will be discussions.
