I agree about Navy's value; I'd take them as a full ACC member if it pulled in ND. The St. John's "idea" is a non-starter.
You're just making statements without backing them up. It's widely understood that the Naval Academy couldn't effectively recruit to perform in a high major Olympic sports conference. Taking Navy only as a full member because it sounds good is like pounding sand--it's counterproductive because the Naval Academy would have no interest in having its non-scholarship athletes humiliated game after game. That's not a knock on Navy; it's just the facts with regard to modern college athletics.

The St. John's idea is probably a non-starter, although it makes perfect sense, especially as a package with Notre Dame. St. John's has good academics and athletics, is a Catholic university and is located in New York, a market that Notre Dame and the ACC covet. A package of Notre Dame full membership, Navy and St. John's would make John Swofford probably the most praised man in college sports for pulling off the coup of a lifetime.

Edit: I would definitely prefer Georgetown University in this scenario over St. John's but Georgetown's location in D.C. along with Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Navy (in this situation) would make the addition somewhat superfluous.
