You gotta respect the MWC for knowing how to play the conference shuffle. If they can get BSU and SDSU back, and get AQ status for the next two years, they are in good shape again. I wonder if they could get BYU back in that case even.

IMO, this would be great. The PAC 12 would have to deal with the MWC becoming AQ and getting BSU and SDSU back. And the Big East would be forced to look again at eastern teams, bringing some sanity back to their geography. I'd like to see them pick up ECU and Southern Miss. If the trickle down were to get JMU into the CUSA or Sunbelt, then perfect.

CLICKY

I have to guess Boise St is waiting to find out if the MWC will have AQ status for 2012 and 2013, though i can't imagine basing what should be a long term decision on 2 years of AQ payments to a league. the WAC is done, so i think we will see Boise use that as their excuse/reason to stand up the BigEast and stay in the MWC. the question then becomes, does SDSU want to be the lone western member of the BigEast? what a mess they have on their hands right now...
