Could Duke drop their miserable football program?
Could Navy replace the Dookies for football only? Of course at someone elses request?
Could ND take a 1/8 NBC deal and allow other ACC footballers to divide the other 7/8?
Back to the day when VT got into BIG EAST for all sports what was the leverage?
BIG 12 stable? LOL is the Middle East?
Reverse thinking? Is ACC talking to Texas? Really I hope not but.............
SEC wanting VT? Well they are the one's that allowed Big 12 some time and hope. Oh they want a Carolina school also.
Richmond? Prefers ACC but will take care of both state schools if ACC is tarred and feathered. SEE BIG 10 and SEC
How much would Duke dropping down for football help? Alot IMHO nnd also others. They are stealing football money and come nowhere close to making up for it in bball.

Boston College besides ties with ND was a terrible ACC pick. Only getting ND one day will justify the Eagles. At least the CUSE would have been good in other sports.

Did FSU Clemson and maybe a few others want WVU? That's the rumor. Makes some sense if you think just football. Otherwise they have ALOT of warts.

Name to watch in future.....Cincy. Location. Academics getting better. THey are quiet during all of this. Prime recruiting in Ohio. Their fan following has been not bad. Oh and alot of Catholic schools in that area. Potential? Well better then BC/Duke.

One more thing. DO NOT get caught up in BIG 12/WVU bloggers. They have survival agenda's. Wait on real news. Be assure when this comes out for real ESPN will be all over it. Not the Douche of WV.


BTW ol Fantastic does not post much anymore. The above stuff comes from afar and thought it was worth a mentioning. Does not mean all of it will happen for sure but just things to watch for.

There is no reason for Duke to drop or consider dropping football. The ACC will not admit partial members ie. Navy for Football only, Notre Dame for everything but Football. Cincinnatti will be on the outside looking in at the ACC or any other existing big name conference. Their academics is not that strong. Their loyal fan base is not that strong. Why else would that move a home game to Fed Ex to try to draw a big VT crowd. The travel for non revenues would be awful.
