How many future top picks play in the postseason all-star games? Answer: NONE. That's because every additional game you play adds to your risk, and why showcase your talent in the postseason when you've got years of game footage plus the Combine? A player from the Texas national championship team said he wouldn't want a playoff because of the added risk of injury, and I can't believe he's the only one that feels that way.

I'd love to see a poll of last year's first round picks to see what they say. I suppose those that feel very strongly about having a 'true champion' could force these college kids to play 3-4 extra games and they would have to do so to keep their scholarships, but I would not be one of those people.
