That'ks funny. So the NCAA pays for the scholarships in volleyball?

Nope. No it doesn't, does it?

The NCAA "promotes". What, exactly, does that mean? Because despite having hot babes jumping up and down a lot, my being a hetero male who likes sports, and living in a state with a really great college vollyball team, my grand total time spent watching volleyball is less than an hour over the course of my lifetime.

The NCAA has repeatedly proven they are incompetent to run football. They're fine for the non-revenue sports, where the true ideal of collegiate athletics at least has a chance to survive, but the reality is that they can't handle the gray area that is college football.

You're spouting anOldHokie type rhetoric, based on an ideal for college sports that doesn't exist. At least, not in football or basketball.

Complete NCAA control is bad for VT. That's it, plain and simple.
