I said things would look bad for a while, but in the end VT would be okay.

I also said there would be a lot of noise, but the thing to watch is the how they pick the playoff 4...not a bowl for second place teams (ie Champions Bowl) I think the conference model is probably off the table, but the question is will winning your conference be a significant component of how they pick the playoff 4.

That is the thing to watch here...and it still is the thing to watch. Believe me ND is watching it.

If nothing happens is that being 'on top' sports wise? Or do you really expect ND to join the ACC still (not sure I'd consider that 'on top' either, but at least its an improvement)
